Paseo Cayala, Guatemala City

The new City of Cayala was master planned in the offices of Estudio Urbano with the expert partnership of Leon Krier.   The urban areas were landscaped with custom tree grates, light standards, cast iron planters, and cast iron drain grates.  The street features elongated planters and bollards which form outdoor spaces for activities in front of the storefronts and restaurants.  Cayala continues to grow and is becoming a destination for pedestrian and community activities during weekends and holidays.  Project Architects -  Leon Krier, Pedro Pablo Godoy, Maria Fernanda Sanchez de Godoy
